This week, I'll be using The Day It Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond during my language therapy sessions. This is a fabulous book that tells the story of a sweet little girl Cornelia Augusta. You can read all about the book by clicking HERE. Expressively, we will be working on retelling the story and sequencing the events. Retelling can be tough stuff, but it's such an important skill in school. To help my students, I created a story map to provide them with visual cues. Receptively, we will work on answering questions and temporal/spatial concepts!
My articulation groups are going to be diving into my newest articulation series! They'll be using Groundhog's Day and Valentine's Day themed game boards! I love integrating special occasions/holidays into my therapy room. It's so much fun! I already gave these print n' go game boards a whirl in therapy last week using the winter themed boards. OH MY! My students LOVED them. They're really excited to start a collection of game boards! I'm even thinking about giving them each a special folder to store their game board collection. :)

I'm also linking up with my friend Mary over at Old School Speech for her weekly linky party- Week in Review! Check out her post to find more therapy ideas!
I hope you have a sweet week in speech! Thanks for visiting!
